The receptacles at the town bottle bank were full at the weekend however some locals decided to leave their bottles and cans on the concrete in front of the bins. This practice prompted the Ballybay Tidy Towns committee to post a video which they called – ‘Thanks to the adults for this – Couldn’t wait until the bins were emptied’. Committee Chairman Martin Gleeson branded the practice, “Disgraceful”.
If the bins are full could locals please take their bottles and cans back with them and wait until the bins are emptied.
