CANNON MC GINN FOR BALLYBAY

Last week Bishop Larry Duffy announced a number of diocesan appointments which will take effect from Tuesday 1st October. The very Re. Cannon Patrick Mc Ginn who is currently the Administrator in Monaghan & Rackwallace, Tyholland and Kilmore & Drumsnatt will become Parish Priest in Ballybay (Tullycorbett), Latton (Aughnamullen West) and Rockcorry (Ematris). A native of Clontibret, Fr. Paddy as he is best known has been in the county town for over twenty years. While there is no doubt, he will be a major asset to the parish, we will also be losing Fr. Danfulani who is heading to south Monaghan and will reside in Magheracloone.
