CHRIST CHURCH HALL TRANSFORMS

Recently Christ Church Hall has undergone a transformation. What was once in need of some much-needed care and investment has been given a new lease of life. Today, the hall is a modern, warm, accessible and welcoming community facility. This transformation would not have been possible but for a number of funding bodies who provided much needed grant aid. The select vestry of the church are very grateful for this support and would like to thank each and everyone of them. The €1,200 received through the Local Enhancement Programme 2025 allowed us to give the exterior of the building a much-needed facelift. The €49,188.06 received through the Community Investment Fund 2024 was truly transformative. It enabled them to completely refurbish the toilet facilities, including wheelchair accessibility, an accessible toilet and baby-changing facilities. The hall now has  a modern kitchen with new appliances, new flooring throughout and a freshly painted interior. Another €1000 was received from the Local Enhancement Programme, which was used to replace the old boiler with a more cost effective one. Anyone interested in using the hall should contact any committee member.
