Students from Coláiste Oiriall presented a generous donation of €900 to Bernadette Duffy, Chairperson of the Ballybay Cancer Society. This will help provide financial assistance and a free transport service to locals who currently have cancer. Speaking to the Anglo Celt, Bernadette said, “We are delighted to receive this very generous donation from the pupils here at Colaiste Oiriall. I would like to thank them for thinking of us and I can assure everyone that the monies will be well spent supporting local people”.
