We are a Ballybay Community, Heritage and Arts Group taking part in a Course entitled ‘Creating a Community and Arts Space for Ballybay’ as part of the Innovating Communities project, led by Monaghan Integrated Development in the county. We have come together to look at the needs of Ballybay town to develop a community facility that is available to us all. Following the COVID pandemic, and decades of economic decline, a lot of spaces have closed and we saw the need for a Community space to improve social interaction. Our ultimate goal is to rejuvenate a wider sense of community.
With the information you provide, we would like to explore the viability of our project, to help us plan and design a space based on an analysis of your needs. Your input is greatly appreciated, and if you know of other people who may wish to share their opinions, please send on.
We also welcome new people to join this Course! If you have an interest, visit and register at www.innovating.ie/courses/61-creating-a-community-arts-space-for-ballybay
