Staff and volunteers from Ballybay Credit Union will be participating in the International Development Foundation CU Challenge 2022 . The challenge for 2022 is to virtually walk 40 million steps through 4 countries in 10 days.
“4 countries | 10 days | 40 million steps “. The walk is the equivalent of walking from Ireland to the Foundations three core countries – The Gambia, Sierra Leone and Ethiopa and along the way they will raise money for their work in these three African countries. The Challenge will run from the 10th – 19th October, starting on World Mental Health Day and finishing the day before International Credit Union Day. If you see the Credit Union walkers out on the move be sure to give a wave and cheer them on.
