Over the course of the Friday and Saturday, more than 60 volunteers came together throughout the greater Ballybay area. Despite the weather not being entirely on our side, our incredible teams showed up with unwavering spirit, meeting the challenge head-on with enthusiasm and determination. Over the two days, we had the privilege of engaging with so many members of our communities and were deeply moved by the kindness and generosity shown to us. Together, we raised a remarkable total of €9,507 in support of the Irish Cancer Society. Speaking to the Northern Standard, local organiser Brian Carroll said, “On behalf of the Society, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to each and every one of you for your dedication, support, and generosity. Our collective efforts will truly make a difference”.
