Latton Bawn Historical Group are continuing their call for more of your emigration stories. If you or any of your relations left the parish of Latton & Bawn in the 1940’s, 1950’s or 1960’s. then they want to hear their stories.
Next year they are publishing a book on the emigration of those who left from our parish in the above years. So far they have gathered over eighty stories but they know there are a lot more out there.
An example of the information they are looking for is as follows:
1. What year did they emigrate and where did they go to?
2. What did they work at, did they get married and have a family?
3. Are they still living, if not when did they die and where are they buried?
4. You can add as much information as you would like about them.
They also would like a photo of them.
You can send your stories to them by contacting any of the committee members or email lattonbawnhistoricalgroup@gmail.com or send a private message to their Facebook page.
