MONSIGNOR HONOURED BY TYRONE GAA

MONS MC SORLEY

Pictured is Monsignor Mc Sorley and his brother which was taken at a recent function held by the Tyrone County Board to honour the All Irlenad minor winning teams of 1947 and 1948. The 1947 team was the first team from the six counties to win an All Ireland title and the two Mc Sorley boys were members. A team mate of the boys was Barney Eastwood who went on to manage Barry Mc Guigan. Congratulations to Monsignor who still takes a keen interest in all things GAA 70 years after winning an All Ireland title!
