A talk on the tragic deaths of Oscar Wilde's half sisters Emily and Mary who died as a result of injuries they received from a fire at a Ball they attended in Drumaconor House near Smithboro in 1871 will take place in Cahans Meeting House on Friday 3rd November.
A display of costumes used in the currently produced film about the Wilde sisters will be on show on the night. Music and poetry associated with Oscar Wilde will also be performed.
