PEADAR RETIRES AFTER 17 YEARS

In 2007 Ballybay Pearse Brothers decided to run Bingo every Tuesday night. On the first night Peadar Donaghy volunteered to supervise the car park. Every Tuesday night for the last seventeen years Peadar turned up in rain, hail or sunshine to make sure cars entered and left the centre safely. It wasn’t a glamorous job, but it was an essential one and the Pearse Brothers will be forever thankful for Peadar’s dedication and service. All involved with the Pearse Brothers club wish Peadar a long and healthy retirement.
