The Ballybay Outdoor Bowling Club will have their first competitive game on Wednesday 26th April. They will be away to Dungannon, a place that is hard to get points in but with a lot of practice from the Ballybay side its hoped to get a hsrae of the points.
We were informed during the week that the Strule team from Omagh has withdrawn from the Border Copunties league. That will leave some free evenings for other competitions. Our green is in fine order this year and will be open each evening at 7pm where all are encouraged to attend. None of the Town Tournament games took place just yet but this week should see the start with Liam Smyth’s Bar meeting Paul Carragher’s Fruit and Veg shop. A lot of games are to be played on Tuesday 2nd May when they get in some practice.
