MENTAL HEALTH ASSOCIATION NEWS
Ballybay Mental Health Association is not holding their Social Club meeting in Cuan Mhuire this month. The next scheduled meeting is Friday 12 May. The usual activities and meals plus bingo plus the possibility of other surprises will happen in the presence of Stephen, Sharon and Gabriel. Everybody invited. Apologies for the cancellation of this month`s. Suggestions for the annual bus outing in June are welcomed. On Monday 27th March last the group accepted an invitation from Ardaghey Social Services to their wonderful afternoon of 60 people with food, exercises, raffle, bingo, music and dance and friendship.
Entries from sixth class pupils at the six local Primary Schools have been received by the branch committee who are organising an Essay Project with the theme: Friendship. A number of late entries are still expected. Awards and certificates will be presented at a function for students, parents and teachers in Cuan Mhuire on Friday 28 April.
