Ballybay Tidy towns are indebted to Gerry Mc Elroy Sponsor of the new watering system designed and built to enable the supply of water for the planters and beds around the town. Many people have commented on how good the town is looking this year and we would like to thank Gerry McElroy for his sponsorship, Padraig Lennon for the design and build and participants of the Community Employment Scheme for their help in keeping the flowers alive in the drought conditions of the past few weeks.

Many private dwellings and business have painted their properties and put up hanging baskets which all helps to improve the appearance of the town for all who live here and for others passing through. Also a word of thanks to John Rutledge who is always on hand to take photos for Ballybay Tidy Towns and many other organizations in the town. Well done everyone a great community effort.
