SEAMUS COYLE RAISES WATER ISSUE
A number of local residents especially those living on the Castleblaney Road have an issue with their water being discoloured. This was brought to the attention of local Councillor Seamus Coyle who in turn has raised the matter with both Monaghan County Council Water Services Section & Irish Water. Speaking to the Ballybay News Cllr. Coyle said, “I totally accept that the Water leaving the Kilkit Treatment Plant is of the highest quality however when it gets to the sinks, baths, showers etc in the Ballybay area there is discoloration and it is not useable. I have also requested that Irish Water and Water Services Section of Monaghan County Council attend the next meeting of Ballybay-Clones Municipal District to discuss and offer a resolution to this totally unacceptable situation in Ballybay Town & surrounding area”.
