LOUGH MAJOR WALK

The Lough Major Walk was named as last week’s Monaghan Tourism walk for the weekend. In their promotion they described the walk as – “Beginning at Ballybay Town Park, this 4.2km looped walk covers around two thirds of the shoreline of the 23-hectare Lough Major. A popular spot for angling, the lake is home to small and medium pike Oh, and those sunsets”.  It look like this hidden gem is now out of the bag.
