MY BALLYBAY LIFE – ROSE BURNS (NEE RUTLEDGE)

Rose Burns formerly Rose Rutledge is the latest local to feature in the very popular, “My Ballybay Life” in the Ballybay and its People Facebook page. These days Rose resides in the USA but has many fond memories of growing up in Ballybay. She was born in her grandparents’ house in Lower Main Street. This was knocked to facilitate the building of a knitting factory and at this stage Rose moved to Albert Street (now known as St. Patrick’s Street).
