It was a sad week in Ballybay with the passing of Mary Duffy and Annie Mc Skean. Mary who was originally from Armagh and who lived in Corrybrennan passed away peacefully on Wednesday 1st April. Her funeral was held in St. Patrick’s Church on Friday last followed by cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
Annie McSkean, O’Duffy Terrace, Ballybay, Co. Monaghan passed away on Sunday April 5th, peacefully at home, surrounded by her devoted and loving family. Annie’s wake took place on Tuesday and her funeral took place this morning in St. Patrick’s Church. She was buried in the adjoining cemetery after her funeral mass.
May Mary and Annie rest in peace.
