TIDY TOWNS NEWS

Ballybay Tidy Towns has submitted an application again this year to the SuperValu Tidy Towns competition. Judging will take place at any time over the next few weeks. Many areas need improvements and we need the COMMUNITY to get on board. We ask businesses, landlords and property owners in the town to ensure their premises are well presented. Cigarette butts are a problem on the streets and outside various businesses, please dispose of in bins and not on the footpath. Keep premises clear of weeds and consider putting up window boxes or hanging baskets. Keep the streets clear of old signage, unnecessary signage or clutter. When using the bottle banks and clothing banks please do not leave bags or other items at these recycling bins. Put the clothes into the bins and if they are full come back another day. The weekly Tidy Towns clean-up will start next Thursday 28th at 7 pm from the square. It’s one hour every week and we would ask you to get involved. We need your help to make Ballybay a Tidy Town.
