The annual Christmas Lights turn on will take place on Friday 1st December. This year, Santa AKA Michael Quinn will be doing the big switch on as a tribute to his late father John Quinn. John who lived at O Duffy Terrace, had played Santa in Ballybay every year for the last 37 years. It was always an occasion he looked forward to and played his part in the Christmas festivities as he received lots of information on presents from the local children and made sure it was passed on to the main man in the North Pole. Everyone is welcome to the switch on which is at 7-30pm.
