TWO DAVIDS ON TV

On Sunday night last there was a very interesting programme on BBC2 called ‘HAME’, about the Ulster-Scots and County Monaghan. Two David’s from Ballybay featured in the programme and both were very articulate as they were interviewed. Firstly David Nesbitt told the story of Cahan’s church and some of its members while David Moen representing the Monaghan Liverpool supporters club told the story of Honest John Mc Kenna from Glaslough who was one of the founding members of Liverpool FC. Well done to both.
