UNA WINS MASCOT NAMING COMPEITION

Congratulations to Una Woods, a 5th class student in Scoil Eanna who was the winner of the Monaghan County Council name a Green Dog Walker mascot competition. Monaghan County Council recently launched Green Dog Walkers, a friendly, non-confrontational way of tackling dog fouling in our County. They reached out to all the primary schools in the County and asked for their help in naming the Green Dog Walker mascot. Una’s winning entry, ‘Eco’ was chosen as the official name. Una received her specially commissioned prize from Robert Burns, the CEO of Monaghan County Council.
