The recent afternoon tea in aid of EMBRACE THE MIDDLE EAST raised a fantastic €900. The organisers would like to thank everyone who attended, helped out and donated. All can be assured the money will be well spent helping those in the Middle East who are much less fortunate than ourselves.
Also, the next event will be a harvest reminiscing evening with a film on flax growing and processing, music by the Forge Anvil group and of course a harvest supper. It is on Friday 18 October at 8pm.
