WOLRD RECORD ATTEMPT

Ballybay Town Team are aiming to set a world record for making the largest cardboard heart in the world. The attempt will take place in the Town Park on Sunday 28th September, the day before World Heart Day. Cardboard hearts have been supplied to local schools and creches in Ballybay and surrounding areas and the kids have been asked to decorate them and write a message of their choice on them. The hearts will then be taken to the Town Park and assembled like a jigsaw to make a large heart. Obviously it would be great to set the record so anyone who would like to support this initiative can collect a cardboard heart in Smyth’s newsagents in the Square or cut one out of a cardboard box.
