The Christmas lights were turned on last weekend and will remain on until January 2026. A gofundme page has been set up by Gerry McElroy to help with the cost of the lights. The aim is to raise €3000 and so far things have been going well with a quarter of the target reached by last Monday night. If you are interested in making a donation then just go to gofundme and search ‘Ballybay Xmas Lights 2025’. Alternatively donations can be made in Ballybay Credit Union, account number 5229.
